Audition Announcement for Emergence Dance Company 2024-2025

Dear Dancers,

We are excited to announce auditions for the Emergence Dance Company 2024-2025 season! We are looking for passionate and talented dancers to join our company, apprentice, or training program.

Audition Details:

• Date: August 13, 2024
• Time: 8:30 PM - 9:45 PM
• Styles: Contemporary, Jazz, Improv (If you do pointe, please let us know)
• What to Bring: Appropriate dance shoes for the various styles, resume, and headshot

Confirmed Performances for the Season:

1. Fusion Fest - November 30 & December 1, 2024
2. Emergence Dance Festival (EDF) - March 2, 2025 (Sunday 1-8 PM)
3. Choreographer Applications - Open from August 2024 until December 27, 2024
4. iDance - Saturday, April 26, 2025

Founded in 2017 by Cindy Heen, Emergence Dance emphasizes technique, experiential awareness, and ritual practice. Our performances aim to spark spiritual and emotional catharsis, fostering community and individual expression. We prioritize versatility, passion, and uniqueness in our performers. Through our productions and master classes, we've become a leader in Central Florida's dance scene, reaching audiences worldwide.
